It’s holier for a white man to cite Shakespeare than to cite Scripture. This year, however, two have come to light: Romeo and Juliet and Merchant of Venice. This has usually been about one new play per year. So I usually wait until my readings or studies or God Himself, through some providential coincidence, bring a work of Shakespeare to my attention, after which, I’ll dive in. While CWNY was alive, I’d burn through it like no tomorrow yet, now that he’s passed, I find myself afraid to read any new novel or play or work in the Cambrian Corpus, knowing that one day, there’ll be no more of it (until the Spirit sweeps through our people again and new works are created). As part of this legacy, I’ve been rationing my reading of the great literature of our people. You all know of my love for Cambria Will Not Yield (RIP). I apologize to my readers, if there are any of you left, for my long absence.
